Amarpreet Singh ARORA is Research Professor at Construction and Environmental Research Center, College of Engineering, SungKyunKwan University (SKKU) in Korea. He is a multidisciplinary expert in Environmental Engineering, Urban Sustainability, and Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), with over a decade of experience leading global R&D, managing international projects, and bridging academia with industry. His core expertise spans plant growth modeling, optimal light recipe development, and algorithm-driven environmental solutions.
With a strong foundation in water and wastewater treatment, he has led innovation at the intersection of CEA systems, smart farming, and urban climate resilience. Currently, he engaged in smart precision agriculture and global smart city development projects along with project coordination of the NRF funded project in SAID Lab.
