RESEARCHERS

Birte MELLER is a Researcher at the SAID Lab, SungKyunKwan University (SKKU), Korea. She has a multidisciplinary background in geology, archaeology, and urban sustainability, with research experience in Germany and Korea. Her expertise includes GIS-based spatial analysis, FEW-nexus modeling, BIM/GIS/LCA integration, and urban resilience and sustainability assessment. With experience in research, academic quality management, and science administration, she combines analytical, organizational, and interdisciplinary skills to support complex research projects. Her current work focuses on data-driven approaches to sustainable and climate-resilient urban development, integrating spatial analysis, digital tools, and environmental assessment methods. At the SAID Lab, she is also engaged in international research projects, project coordination, scientific communication, and the development of interdisciplinary research activities at the SAID Lab.
